Epic Update HDFC BankEquity benchmarks lost shine in afternoon trade with the Sensex falling 0.13 points to 26843.01 while the Nifty was up only 3.30 points at 8222.25. The market breadth also turned negative as about 1386 shares declined against 1110 advancing shares on Bombay Stock Exchange.
Pharma, infra, telecom and HDFC group stocks dragged market while Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Infosys, HUL along with auto stocks gained.
