Nifty still above 8550; Tata Motors, ICICI, Maruti laggards

The market is still gaining with the Nifty above 8500. The 50-share index is up 26.90 points or 0.3 percent at 8555.45 and the Sensex is up 85.68 points or 0.3 percent at 27873.30.

About 1509 shares have advanced, 982 shares declined, and 179 shares are unchanged.

Coal India, GAIL, BHEL, Hero MotoCorp and Dr Reddy’s Labs are top gainers while Wipro, Tata Motors, ICICI Bank , HDFC and Maruti are losers in the Sensex.
