The market seems to be cautious ahead of US elections tonight.
The Sensex is down 42.56 points or 0.1 percent at 27416.43, and the Nifty down 14.55 points or 0.2 percent at 8482.50.
About 1128 shares have advanced, 1592 shares declined, and 108 shares are unchanged.
Sun Pharma, Maruti, Adani Ports, Cipla and SBI are top gainers while Tata Motors, BHEL, Axis Paints and GAIL are gainers.
