Sensex, Nifty sluggish; Cipla, L&T, Adani Ports fall

The market is sluggish with the Nifty struggling below 8200.

The 50-share index is down 22.75 points or 0.3 percent at 8199.05 and the Sensex is down 34.75 points or 0.1 percent at 26663.07.

About 1070 shares have advanced, 1010 shares declined, and 118 shares are unchanged.

Axis Bank, Reliance, Asian Paints, Wipro and Tata Motors are gainers while Coal India, HDFC, Cipla, L&T and Adani Ports are losers in the Sensex.
