Sensex, Nifty, Midcap higher; Reliance, Tata Motors, ICICI lead

Benchmark indices remained higher with the Sensex rising 126.57 points to 26853.12 and the Nifty climbing 35.80 points to 8271.85.

Out of 1906 stocks traded on the NSE, 490 declined, 1037 advanced and 379 remained unchanged today

Some buying activity is observed in Auto, Oil & Gas, Bank, Consumer Durables, while Telecom, Realty, Power, Telecommunications, Utilities are showing weakness on BSE.
