May JLR sales lift Tata Motors 2%

Tata Motors was in the driver’s seat on Friday with a gain of 2% after its arm Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) reported a jump in global sales, riding on the back of new launches.
Jaguar Land Rover sales at the global level grew 6.1% to 48,281 units in May, boosted by the introduction of new models, including the Range Rover Velar, across markets.
